Welcome to our breast cancer learning toolkit for patients and caretakers. Finding out you have breast cancer can be scary, but it’s not the end. There is hope for a happy life and even a cure. In Rwanda, many people only find out they have breast cancer when it’s already advanced, often because of myths, lack of awareness, or financial constraints making treatment outcomes poor. But the more you know about breast cancer, the better decisions you and your loved ones can make. This patient education toolkit, designed by clinicians together with breast cancer survivors will help you learn about breast cancer, its treatment, and how to live well during and after treatment. However, this toolkit is not a substitute for your doctor’s medical advice.
Welcome 🙂
